मेरी ज़िम्मेदारी

मैं वक़्त को यूँ अकेले जाने नहीं दूँगा 

अपने पसीने के दो बूँद साथ दे भेजूँगा।

(I will not let the time travel alone like this,

 I will send along two drops of my sweat)

मैं अपने आप को अकेला नहीं समझूँगा 

होसले के दो अणुओं से सन्नाटा भर दूँगा।

(I will not consider myself alone,

  will fill the loneliness with two molecules of my morale)

लक्ष्यहीन जीवन को यूँ कटने नहीं दूँगा 

दिल के दो अरमान मंज़िल बना भेजूँगा।

(I will not let this directionless life continue this way

 I will send along two dear wishes as goals)

मैं किसी को सीमित नहीं समझने दूँगा 

कलम के दो अल्फ़ाज़ साथ दे भेजूँगा।

(I will not let anyone  feel limited

 I will send along two letters of my pen)

मैं अनंत हूँ, असीम हूँ, यह नहीं भूलूँगा

गुमनाम ही सही निरंतर काम कर जाऊँगा

(I have no ending, no limits, I will not forget,

 unknown may be, but will work forever).
